The new version just crashes after you try to open it. This started to happen after the update. Updates are supposed to make the app better!

Dont update the app. The newest version opens and then quickly crashes before any data loads. Ive restarted my phone just in case something was screwy, and that didnt help. Totally frustrating since I dont want the FB app on my phone, but access to events was super convenient.
Found a concert I didnt know about first time I opened the app!
All the great functionality you get in Facebook within a dedicated app, great for finding things to do when youre planning for the weekend, or just going out with friends. Love it
Events are my favorite thing about Facebook and this app is definitely getting a spot on the first page of my home screen. I find out about so many cool new events on Facebook and this is going to make it even easier – especially that map feature! The weekend cant come any sooner.
Looks nice. Would be nice to be able to sort by date/time when exploring events.
Another Facebook app. After my friend posted on event I did get nitification, but tapping it took me to some libo state with empty page and back not working. There should be option to switch to Celcius. You can contact me at t4under at wp.pl
Event app is intuitive, easy to use, and useful. It shows all the event happening near my area and events that my friends are attending or showed interest! This app is also beautifully designed! Excited to explore more abt this app and kudos to the event team! :)
When you deactivate Facebook for getting life envy, provide a stay signed into events. The same way messenger has the option.

This is an awesome way for me to find out what fun things are going on. As an event promoter, this could be a great new tool. I just wonder if this is going to make every local bar create an event for all of their live music all week long or become irrelevant. How does this impact eventbrite or Ticketmaster?
Nice job. Help me find more thing to do.
I downloaded and installed the app. The first time I tried to use it, the "Continue with Facebook" button didnt work. I pressed it 20 times and it did nothing. So I quit the app. The next time I opened it, it worked, but it took me to a "Sign in with Facebook" screen. I switched to the Facebook app and I had been logged out. I logged in and now Facebook is telling me that my account was hacked and I need to review all my security protocols, change my password, etc. What the heck? Did I mistakenly install a virus?
Sleek. Simple. Serves its purpose well. Nice work!
So happy Facebook launched a separate app for Events
A huge variety of events to choose from. A great way to find cool events to go to with my friends.
Why wont the calendar sync from iPhone 6S Plus to my iPad Pro? The App is on both devices btw!
Because that is how facebook works. No advantage over regular event searches on the facebook app or on the computer. Many disadvantages. Cant share to a page, harder search options, difficult an not user friendly when using it, hard to make out. Missing a lot of events. Diesnt load at where you leave off when looking at an event, endless scrolling to navigate back. Definitely not ready and useless like the groups app
Of all the "in-app apps" within Facebook, the Events tool has been most helpful in my life. It helps me make weekends fun; it helps me build a case to my friends (especially, the ones thinking of moving to Charlotte) as to why my city is so vibrant and cool. And lastly, it integrates lets me invite my friends easily. I was so excited when I heard Facebook had finally built an app in the App Store for Events. Thanks yall!
The new FB events app isnt too bad. The UI is pretty clean and infinitive and there are some cool events. There definitely is not a focus on discovery, like what the Vuevent app has. Also, they paint categories with a pretty broad stroke. For instance, you can only filter by music, not Jazz, for instance. I keep seeing what friends are interested in but they are people I knew from years ago and havent ever interacted with again.
